WINE ESTATE
• Solange Desplat purchased this property in 1961 from the Barrières family who had owned it since the 19^th century. Currently, her daughter Isabelle manages this 11 hectare (27 acres) estate located just east of St. Emilion.

SOIL
• Loamy sand on clay subsoil.
• Average age of vines: 35 years.

GRAPE VARIETY
• Merlot: 60%.
• Cabernet Sauvignon: 25%.
• Cabernet Franc: 15%.

VINIFICATION
• 21 days of fermentatio.
• 18 months in cement - and stainless - steel tanks.

FOOD PAIRING
• Ideal paired with roasts and hard cheeses.

AWARDS
• Silver Medal: Concours des Vins d’Aquitaine.
• Bronze Medal: Concours des Vins de Mâcon.

TASTING NOTES
• Ruby-colored with a dense, fruity nose of dark berries and chocolate.
• Well-balanced and medium-bodied with a velvety finish.
