WINE ESTATE
• This ancient fortress dating from the 12th century is owned by the Counts of Ternay and is the emblem of the village of Rully.
• Nearly half of its 30 hectares are classified as Premier Crus, producing approximately 80% white wines and 20% red wines.
• Antonin Rodet manages the Estate since 1986.
GRAPE VARIETY
• 100% Chardonnay
VINIFICATION
• The grapes are hand and mechanically harvested then pressed in a pneumatic press. After the must is racked, the alcoholic fermentation and the maturation are carried out 1/3 in new oak barrels, 1/3 in 1 to 3 year old oak barrels with stirring of the lees and 1/3 in stainless steel vats. The maturation lasts 18 months.The malolactic fermentation is completed at 100%.
The wine is then bottled in traditional Burgundy bottles.

TASTING NOTES Visual : Beautiful, pale gold color with silvery tints, clear and shiny. Nose : Fine and delicate with aromas of honey, flowers (acacia) with soft notes of dried fruits and candied lemon. Palate : Fresh and lively with flavors of fruits with grilled and toasty notes.
