Château de Pourcieux White
Cotes de Provence
Château de Pourcieux has been an important site of viticulture and ranks among the most venerable vineyards of Provence from time immemorial . Roman vestiges bear witness to its history; beneath the chateau its cellars contain monumental vats dating from the XVIIIth century and a collection of oak hogsheads which are assembled on the spot and are still in use today. Since 1986, Michel D’Espagnet perpetuates the family tradition.
Le Sec de Rayne Vigneau
The robe has yellow topaz sparkles. The nose, intense, powerful, and even exuberant, is made of acidulated notes and gourmet exotic fruits, English candy or fresh fern. The palate, very vivacious, is surprisingly fleshy for a 100% sauvignon. It offers nice notes of citrus and honeysuckle, and a beautiful finish that lingers on a delicate bitter and the mineral sparkle of the great terroir of Rayne Vigneau.
